To add on to what @SkinnyPanda Robotics said, here’s what you would need to do to see the sensor values:
When your robot is turned on and connected to your computer, go to Robot>Open Debugger Manually. While the debugger is open, go to Robot>Debugger Windows>Sensors (I believe that’s what it’s called). This should show a toolbar that displays sensor values on the bottom of the window. What value does the limit switch give when you press it, and the value when you release it?
