This is the second time I’m having to type this, because the first time it was a reply that didn’t go through approval and Firefox deleted the topic the second time. Vex, please fix your forums…
We’re trying to use limit switches for the first time. When you depress limit switch one, motor 8 (which is inverted for the controller set-up) should no longer turn counter-clockwise, and motor 9 should no longer turn clockwise. The opposite should be true for limit switch 2. Motor 8 should no longer turn clockwise when it is depressed, and motor 9 should no longer turn counter-clockwise.
When one is depressed, nothing happens. It doesn’t matter which one you do, or if you switch the port for the switches. Nothing seems to work. However, if BOTH are depressed, the motors refuse to accept controller input of any kind. I don’t know why or how, but this is the result. Can someone please take a look at this and tell me what I’m doing wrong?
The images attached are what we’re using. They should work in my mind, but I have virtually no experience with this.
