Line Follower Sensor Readings

As I only have grey tiles to practice on, I’m wondering if someone could do me a favour and check what readings you get from a line tracker (line follower, light sensor, whatever you call it) about 1cm above the blue tile, red tile, grey tile, and white tape?

I believe VEX recommends the line follower to be 1/8th inch (.3cm) from the ground.

The range for the line tracker is approximately 0.02 to 0.25in (from the ground) with optimum sensitivity at 3 mm (about 1/8 inch).

Do you even get a reading at 1cm? The colored tile readings are about the same as the tape readings without a color filter. about 400 ish. We use a threshold of 1500 normally.
