Live Scoring Side Effect?

Does anyone else feel as if the live scoring affects the referees’ ability to make sure rules aren’t being broken? Is the live scoring truly necessary? How many of you pay attention to the score on the projector?

I would say that it’s a nice addition for the audience and in most instances where there is live scoring, there is more than one referee and/or a dedicated scorekeeper.

I wouldn’t go down the live scoring route if there was only one referee, though. As you say, it would distract attention from checking rules against gameplay, etc.
