I still have not been able to fully find where the loading zone is. Does anyone have a diagram or something that shows where it is?
The loading zone is a smaller area within the climbing zone. It’s very corner of the field, a triangle, with two sides formed by the field perimeter and one side formed by the tape that goes across the alliance starting tiles.

Also, take a look at the driver area outlined in blue tape. At our FL State Competition they were not letting anyone kneel across this tape. So you had to reach into the field from at least a foot back. May not sound like much, but it was difficult for the smaller kids.
They were right in requiring it, but no-one had enforced it up to that point. I imagine they will at World’s. Especially for skills.
