We don’t have a single free pneumatic or motor, and we desperately need an expansion. This is a pure longshot, but I’m still going for it. Any ideas out there for an pneumaticless and motorless expansion? Maybe something with rubber bands?
Yes rubber bands can be used to power endgame. In fact, this is how most teams power the mechanisms that launch their endgame projectiles.
The challenge, then becomes how to “trigger” said endgame mechanism. I would suggest looking at ways to utilize motor-sharing to use the motors you already have on your robot for endgame.
Maybe try looking into using a ratchet to trigger your expansion.
