I’m looking for some ideas for a paper scout sheet. I have several teams and would like to provide them with a fairly comprehensive scout sheet for Star Struck. Any ideas or downloads would be appreciated.

Below is an example of a scout sheet I started working on earlier in the season. Hopefully it’ll provide you with some ideas 
It is a two page scouting sheet, which could be a bit much to you, but it gets the job done for sure, especially if you are only planning on scouting a certain amount of teams.

Scout sheets are great and all, but I think electronic medium works much better for scouting. There are a number of Scouting apps out there, but none of them really have the features we want (basically that sheet). So we made our own. It’s like a just a database entry creator, where the scout can just go to a team and check off some boxes or take a picture. We’ve added a couple features like going to vexDB and ranking each team from favorable to least favorable. Then, any member with the app can view the entries live. The sheets are nice, but I feel like just for my team, since we’re quite small, they might add a bit more clutter and confusion than we would like. We are thinking about putting it on the app store, but right now it runs off of my home computer and that couldn’t really handle more than four users. But if there’s interest, we’ll see.
For now though, I really recommend using a messaging app like slack and imputing all the data in there. You get a nice scroll view with all your scouts’ data synced across all your members.
Thanks for the reply guys. I do want to stick with a paper product. I am a lead mentor for 6 teams and I can’t say with certainty that each team will have an electronic device for apps. I will hopefully have a laptop per team by mid season and then they could transcribe paper into a spreadsheet if needed.
3921, thanks for sharing. I am hoping to have a few examples and have the teams develop the ones they like the best. I know there are options out there, I’m just trying to get some samples of each and come up with a solution that works best for us. I will also share whatever we come up with.
