One 12v power terminal has been pulled out, the other is loose. Having seen this before, I found the hole plating for the terminals in the PCB is often damaged if not torn out making resoldering the terminals to the PCB close to impossible or at least weak and loose. Rather than try to address that, I would like to substitute some pigtail power wires and propose to attach (solder)the -ve 12 wire to the closest mounting (soldered) “post” of the closest DB9 and attach the +ve 12 wire to the negative end of the diode (I believe), next to the 5v regulator. We have good soldering equipment and skills. Any recommendations or concerns.
