Does anyone know what is max. diameter internal gearing on machine Lorenz LS400 Gear shaper?. We are about to buy this machine but we doubt that sales doesn’t know the right specification.He claims that outer cutting teeth work piece is 400mm as well as internal gear cutting is 400mm as well. Is this true?
Outer cutting max. diameter according to the factory specification is 400mm (OK),but is it the same with the Inner cutting max. work piece diameter?
The internal gear cutting will be the same as the OD. just the lower bound for the diameter will be higher because you have to fit tooling inside a workpiece.
