Low Goal Scoring

The updated definition reads as follows:

[FONT=Arial]Scored[/FONT][FONT=Arial] – A *cube *is scored in a high goal if some part of the cube is within the triangular space defined by the outer edges of the goal, and not touching a robot of the same alliance. A *cube *is scored in a low goal if any part of the cube is within the triangular space defined by outer edges of the tape which defines the goal, and not touching a robot of the same alliance.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial]Note: A goal extends infinitely perpendicular to the playing field surface within the goal boundaries.[/FONT]

The update refers to the way the low goal is scored. The new ruling is that any cube which is partially protruding into the goal (including the tape) now counts as scored. Hopefully this will make it easier for teams and spectators to see and understand when cubes are scored in the low goal.
