I noticed that 37 was the highest programming skills score at the U.S. Open which is relatively low compared to the previous skills scores of the teams who attempted skills. What were the problems causing the low scores? Anti-static spray?
See my reply on the US Open thread.
The feilds all had anti static on them, and thwy were much stickiee than we anticipated so the stars behaved weird and our wheels stuck to the ground.
I would agree. The amount of anti-static spray used was large. Many teams had autonomous programs and programming skills that just could not function correctly.
As @bwilfong2018 said in the US Open post we used the same anti-static spray they did at both of our tournaments and a light coat eliminates the static and does not cause the stars to bounce across the tile when pushed.
