Just wondering, what’s the point of having a different setup for lrt?
I believe it just makes it easier to see on camera
Not only would it make it easier for the referees to see the states of each teams’ fields, but it also helps to better adapt the game for live remote tournaments.
but why would the game need to be adapted?
Some games, like Change Up and Rise Above, we’re not fully compatible with non-in-person tournaments. For Change Up, it’s success relies upon descoring balls and heavy defense (thus the scoring had to be changed to reflect this), and for Rise Above, the scoring of rows had to be slightly changed to allow for a more seamless match experience between both teams on their alliance.
The rise above lrt format was very chunky, each team had 2/3 of the game objects on their field but yeah i agree
