Is using a lubercation agent leagle in IQ. I checked the manual and can’t find
anything for / against it.
Just taking your word that the game manual says nothing about it, I presume it is allowed.
I am not sure that you are correct about it not being in the game manual, but off of this information alone, I assume it is allowed. If nothing is said in the manual, than it is allowed.
I applaud your effort to answer your question by looking in the manual, and you are correct that the word “lubricant” does not appear anywhere in there.
However, it does have the following to say about robot components:
<R6> VEX IQ product line. Robots may be built ONLY from official Robot components from the VEX IQ product line, unless otherwise specifically noted within these rules.
Since VEX doesn’t sell lubricant as part of the IQ product line, and no other rule allows lubricant to be used, this would not be legal.
