Magnetic line follower

I was watching this tv show earlier about cars that follow magnets in the road and then I thought “Can’t a robot do that” well I decided that this would be a good use for the magnetic read switch.

You basically use the exact same program as the line follower except you replace the sensors with the input from the switches.

I can make something like this but i would need to order more switches.

yea this would be cool, what kind of hall effect sensor are you using?

you could also make a twist and have a light sensor detect the color of the magnet then only follow a path of one color :smiley: that would be a programming nightmare :smiley:
