Match Auton

Is it legal to hold the mogo after time is up? I couldn’t find a answer on the rulebook.

when the match is over, the code will stop so it will immediately drop unless your clamp is reversed or something weird

If it’s not in the game manual, and follows <G2> Common Sense, it’s likely legal.

If the game manual doesn’t explicitly say or imply something is illegal, it is legal.

The game manual says nothing about holding mogos after the match ends (only limits interactions with mobile goals in positive corners during the last 15 seconds of the driver control periods). Therefore, it is legal.

Also, if you look at match videos, you can see many robots possessing mobile goals at the end of the autonomous and driver control periods and not getting disqualified.

If not in rule book then yes and common sense yes

pneumatic actuated clamps would not follow this as pneumatic cylinders hold their last position after the time runs out
