Can you match load triballs directly into the robot during the game without using the specific zones? For example just placing the bot near the corner and continuously placing the triballs.
In order to load the robot, the robot must be either touching the red or blue “match load bars”, or touching the triangle “match load zone”. You may not just park near the corner and load your robot. For more specific wordings, read sg6.

I think rule number of the game manual will answer your questions about Match Loads.
The rules specify onto vs into … There is a Q&A about a team placing the triball on their robot’s catapult, pulling it back and releasing it. I take that as not really in the spirit of the game - I look forward to seeing the answer from the GDC about that situation.
