I have a question about the match load zones. I want to start my robot touching the match load zone pipe but i’m not sure it is legal. I can’t find anything about it not being legal. We have 2 wings on the front side of our robot and I want to start on the alliance match load zone pipe so that when the autonomous starts I can open the wings and push the triball out of the match load zone for a easy autonomous win point. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Section SG1 of the rulebook states, " Contact with the field perimeter and/or Match Load Bars is permitted, but not required."
So yep! You should be able to, as long as you’re not contacting the triball inside the match load zone.
