This is a small issue, but when you are challenging a call, do you use digital rulebook or paper rulebook? Does it matter?
No, it should not matter which format you use as long as it is the current version of the manual. I would recommend digital however as the “find in page” button allows you to search up rules really quickly.

It will have the updated version of the game rules in it.

Any will work, just be prepared to prove that the paper one is up to date.
Which it won’t be unless it was printed after today’s game manual update.

You could argue that it only makes sense to use the digital manual in this case. To prove that your copy is the latest version you’d need to have the online version to hand to check the version number. By that point you might as well have had the digital version open in the first place.
