My team recently had a competition and did fairly well. However, in our last qualification match towards the end of the match, all of a sudden every robot stopped moving and then 3 seconds later all the robots were able to move again. Does anybody have any clue how this happened? I am not complaining or anything but has this happened to anybody else?
Most likely competition switch. The competition switch is the thing you have to plug your controllers into in order to start the match, and on there there is a switch for “enable” and “disable”. Most likely the person in charge accidentally flipped the the switch to disable.
The best explanation is that radio interference happened during the match. It is has happened that a microwave nearby will disrupt the communication of the robots momentarily.
