If you are a single-person team, how would you go about loading the triballs into your robot?
Well from what I have seen and heard of, you can code your launcher in a toggle so that when a button on your controller is pressed, it will start firing, allowing you to solo match load, then, when the button is again pressed, it stops your launcher. Additionally, you can have your alliance partner’s drive team members do so for you, which is probably easier. I hope this provides some inspiration.
You would probably set up a macro and load as a single person during skills, and ask your alliance partners to help you during matches. This would be harder of course for skills, and you wouldn’t get nearly as many triballs over the barrier but it could work fine.
I would recommend trying to find some team members. Single person teams are at a pretty major disadvantage for teamwork on rubrics in addition to building programming. I’m sure there are some interested people in your area.
Great explanation!!
I’m not sure if I’m right, but there may be a loophole…
A
A drive team member is defined as a student who stands in the alliance station, and the only restriction on this is that they can’t be an adult, and there is nothing in the manual that says the member has to be from the respective team (correct me if I’m weng)
So… you can just ask some other people at the competition to help match load for you
Sorry, I can’t edit my post, but I meant that you could ask people on other teams during skills matches to help you out (or ask another single member team as a quid-pro-quo)
No - Drive team members are students on a team. Please see Q&A Q&A 1735
I misunderstood your post - thought you were asking if your alliance drive team can help match load - yes that is ok. Random people at event is not ok.
