Looks like it’s going to be an interesting division.

We look forward to seeing you guys there!
This does seem like a really good division. We are a spatula bot and cant wait to see you all at worlds! Here is our robot:
Very nice.
That will be the third consecutive year we are in Math Division.
In 2011, we reached QF
In 2012, we reached SF
.
.
.
We should be in Final this year:)
Good luck everyone and looking forward to meeting you all.

Personally, I thought this division looks like the strongest… can’t wait for the World to begin
Well 2941A’s reveal was by far the best robot video so that would contribute greatly to the strength of the math division. I look forward to meeting everyone in the division at worlds.
Sadly the robot featured in our teaser video isn’t coming to worlds, as we couldn’t quite fit it in the size limit. The rules clearly state:
That robot was exactly 18 inches on all dimensions and so was not legal :p.
In all seriousness, this looks like a very strong division! Lots of forum teams as well so it should be a lot of fun!
My current robot hasn’t been (and probably won’t be) revealed, but you are all welcome to come and have a look during the competition!
Best of luck to everyone!
What a division
Not exactly a “reveal” video, but I feel I should post a video without all the distractions in the… erm, reveal.
Two videos from early March:
High Goal Scoring across the barrier and random 5 row practice.

Hey this is team Spyder saying hello and i am working on getting some pictures to the forums of out robot the mattmobile.
I am glad to be back to the math division this year and it seems to be just as hard if not harder than last year.
Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and will probably post some robot pics tonight
And you get me as a field tech So I will be bugging you to plug in your backup battery, turn on the cortex and show me the green lights. Lets go for a perfect record this year and have four functioning robots in every match.
Here are some pics of the robot they are the most recent ones i could find but they are from november and we have made a lot of changes like the high goal scorer and new lexan plate
If you want to see it you can tomorrow just come to team spyder 1622’s pit.
Let’s just say that whoever’s in Math division has some of the (if not the) best field tech support ever. I so wish I were going this year.
Thanks, but the VEX employees like Ricky Torrance still know a bunch more than I do. I know that, based on last year, all the volunteers take their jobs seriously and want to make sure that nobody experiences any technical or other difficulties. Both CMU (ROBOTC) and Intelitek (EasyC) will also have tech support that teams can use if they have software problems.

Feel free to stop by our pit. We would enjoy meeting everyone!
