Hy, my question is, whats the maximum velocity the robot can go in the tipping point competition, I can’t find it in the game manual.
For any question about the legality of something, we must turn to the game manual (or the Official Q&A). As you read the game manual (
http://link.vex.com/docs/21-22/vrc/tipping-point/Game-Manual ), keep in mind that the game manual tells you things that you MUST do, and things that you are PROHIBITED from doing. It can’t tell you everything you might do, so if the game manual does not prohibit an action, then it is legal.
If you still have some questions after reading the manual, feel free to post
Also, why is this tagged as REC Foundation Newsletter?
The only restrictions in this regard are that the bot needs to not damage the field, game objects, and other robots, and it needs to not fall out of the field. Other than that you can go as fast as you want to.
Thanks!! i appreciate that
If the flux capacitor is installed you can’t go over 88.
Lol, one could think that, if the flux capacitor is
not installed, you can’t go faster than one clawbot / nanosecond.
But, with those V5 bots packing so much
pixie dust, you never know.
20,000 furlongs per fortnight, as mentioned in Appendix Z, under Section <NOT4> section R.3.4.L
Robots rarely go faster that 22000 furlongs per fortnight. This is equal to 10 Mph or 4.5 meters/second. This is equivalent to 840 rpm on 4 inch wheels.
