I think thats a red or orange, judging by the video don’t know anymore… We have the motors connected to the microcontroller and we put the USB Keys in… I have a mac book air… do we need to update both keys… could that be a problem?
We just charged the joystick and robot batteries too!
The VEXnet firmware upgrade utility is PC only, there is no Mac version, the same is true for the VEXnet key upgrade utility. These utilities sometimes will work when run using a VM such as VMWare fusion or Parallels, but unfortunately not always, it’s a bit hardware dependant.
Before trying to upgrade anything, have you verified that you can control the robot if the joystick and cortex are tethered using the USB A-A cable? Your joystick is also showing a red “joystick” indicator, this is warning that the batteries are low and should be changed.
