I know this is really early, but I thought I would gauge the interest…
Is there enough interest in the mid-Atlantic area for another competition? Location TBD, but most likely somewhere in the Richmond, VA area…
Time frame would probably be around New Years…
Any interest? Any of the teams willing to drive a little bit longer?

Not sure of the event size you have in mind, but the VEX Robotics Mid-Atlantic Championship is scheduled in Westminster, MD for the Round Up Competition Season. The dates are March 4 and 5th. We had 70 teams in attendance this past year, we hope to reach 120 teams at the second annual VEX Robotic Mid-Atlantic Championship. The High School (4th and 5th) and Middle School (5th only) Divisions are up on Robot Events, and Registration will be opening shortly!
I am hoping for something along the lines of what Mid-Atlantic was last year… Maybe a little bit larger… But I am thinking more central, try to pull from NC, maybe some WVA… Not to say anything against the Maryland teams…
I am just putting out some feelers just to see what the interest is for a competition to pull from some of the lower states in the region…
