We are using the Vex IQ system. We have updated all of the componets. We have about 5 different devices that are reading missing devices on the brain, but all of the smart cables are plugged in and have been double checked.
We’re sorry that you have encountered this probblem. Does this error message occur while you are trying to use the built-in programs (Driver Control or Autopilot) or is this error occurring when you are using a custom program, such as one from ROBOTC or Modkit for VEX?
If this error is occurring when you are using the Driver Control or Autopilot program, please refer to the Control System User Guide, Section 6 for the default port mappings for these two programs. All sensors and Smart Motors are optional in the Driver Control program.
If this error is occurring with a custom program, such as one from ROBOTC or Modkit for VEX, please check your program on your computer to ensure that the devices on your robot are attached to the same ports that are assigned in your program. For example, if your custom program expects a Smart Motor on Port 3, but the Smart Motor is connected to Port 4, it will show up as a missing device.
