I just started receiving these notices from a counselor at my son’s high school. I’ll pass on others that look appropriate. I had no idea such things existed.
When I was in high school, I got nominated by my math teacher for a program at UCLA. It was for one week and I really enjoyed it. I remember we toured a Proctor and Gamble plant and I saw how toilet paper was made. Don’t laugh! It was nothing like you think. There are there humongous rolls manufactured then they are cut down. Of the whole experience, all I can remember is learning how toilet paper in made.
Oh, yeah, plus the football team stayed in the same dorm as us because they were working out in the summer. I realized just how short I am with that experience!
