Mobile Bug

On mobile (Samsung Galaxy S7, Android Version 7.0), the forum page works fine, but if i enter a thread, then leave that thread by pressing the back button, the first time i try to scroll, the screen jumps about a full page in whatever direction i start scrolling in. After that initial jump, it is fine. This only occurs after exiting a thread. It always exits to the same place on the page i had scrolled to before entering the thread, and it will perform the jump no matter how slow i try to scroll, and even if i wait several seconds after returning to the page.

It is not a major issue, and i have lived with it for this long, but i am curious if this is an issue anyone else has had.

Hm. Weird. I just tested this out with a few other coworkers (on iOS and different versions of Android), and none of us were able to replicate the problem.

If others are having the issue, we can look further into it.

i can confirm, i dont have problems on my S5, however on my yoga 11e chromebook if i use the touch screen to scroll it does the same thing

I have the screen jump issue using Chrome on my LG G5. Did it on this thread even, not just when I go back.
Android 7.0

Samsung Galaxy S8 here, can confirm this bug is present

I’ve seen this too. I think it has to do with however esoTalk scrolls to the last unread post in a thread – it works sometimes on page load, but other times only after trying to scroll.

Update! Now, when I do the same actions as before, when I begin to scroll, it jumps to near the top, regardless of which direction I begin scrolling in! I am not sure that this is BETTER, but it is different from before.

Mine jumps around, too - Gal S5. Annoying.
