Mobile goal is not possible

I can increase the pneumatic up to 120 psi, but it does not hold the mobile goal, can you please explain. Or how can I make a mobile goal?

A picture would help, but do you have a HS shaft or plate that the goal slides on top of? If not, the goal is dragged along the floor, which could unhook it. If you do have a piece underneath, idk what to tell you, I don’t have pneumatics.

You cannot put more than 100 psi in pneumatic devices in competition, according to R23b. There are topics on 3D-Printed mobile goals that you can search for.

As someone who wants to help, reading this hardly explains anything to me. Please share more detailed and concise questions. Photos also help a lot.

As a side note, you shouldn’t increase up to 120 psi. I know it is technically able to but you risk damaging parts that way.

To answer your question your piston likely doesn’t have enough leverage. Where is the piston attached relative to the pivot point of the clamp and same for where the mogo is clamped? Pictures would help but leverage is likely the problem.

It would be helpful if you send video and pictures. Also, what do you mean by “make a mobile goal”?

Yes. Send a couple pictures with and without the mobile goal.

Maybe do explain what exactly are you trying to achieve? eg. hold the mobile goal as in… holding it up in the air?

And also - do check the game manual about the max psi that you can use.

I believe I have a solution if the piston is not powerful enough.
Clamping a goal is based off of moving the edge of the goal down into the bar which holds the goal, so the piston has to be positioned in a way to provide a lot of downward force via the clamp.

tldr: position pistons either nearly vertial up or vertical down
