Any simple ideas on how to lift the mobile goal?
Motors
Motor. Singular.
That’s what I meant
What I say about grammar in general.
To be actually helpful, most people have been using four bars to lift mobile goals
That’s pretty much your only option, I’ve seen people try to use chainbar lifts, elevators, all sorts of things and nothing else has ever even come close. I would take a look at teams like 9065C and 1970K to find a good design.
How about a three bar?
Well technically 9065C and 1970K have three bars, they are just uasually referred to as a four bar.
A 3 bar is a triangle and can’t not be rotated.
Not my 3 bar
No like, that is the definition of 3 bar.
No like, I am uncouth and uneducated
It could pivot on one point, but that doesn’t help keep a mogo upright. A “shared bottom bar for a total of 7 bars” lift could work, just depends on your space available.
Okay fine it’s a variant of @antichamber mogo tipper bot mogo lift
But I made mine before he made his
I think when people refer to a three bar they mean two bars in front and one in the middle in the back driving the mobile goal.
Ya that is still a 4 bar.
You can use a four bar. 1:7 gearing works well with a torque motor and 2x25 c channel.
I agree.
Nah guys, 3 bar with an additional 1 bar support has worked very well for us.
