I wondering if there are any safety issues with modifying pneumatic tanks. What we were wanting to do was cut the threaded ends off of the cylinders so that they had shorter length overall. Thanks in advance.

Hi Issac,
These storage vessels are pressure rated for the configuration they are sold in. As such, any modified storage tank would no longer be guaranteed to function.
While it probably won’t cause any issues, we can’t be sure. To be safe, we recommend ALL users keep the pneumatic components in their sold configuration.
