Motor and Flywheel

Hi,we know a 393 motor can turn a flywheel at 160 rpm. If we add another motor to the motor & flywheel system, will the turning speed add up to be 320 rpm or stay the same?

It would stay the same, but your torque would double.

A 393 with internal speed gears will turn at 160 rpm*

Just to back up mwang17, he is correct. To increase the rpm’s you need to do some form of a gear ratio. This could be internal or external. Internal meaning the gears inside the motor. External being some form of gear ratio that is connected to the motor.
Hope this helps,
