We have a motor that just beeps constantly, I read a previous post and people said that it was the cortex or motor port. The cortex port works fine as I can swap the motors and it will work, but the second I plug in the specific motor it will make a constant high pitched sound.
Constant high-pitch sound, unable to move on its own and really hard to turn even when disconnected? Welcome to the club. Your motor internals have died. More specifically, the H-bridge (a four-transistor structure that commutates the current direction) has shorted (FET fried).
