Motor being stripped

One of my VIQ smart motors has its square hole striped and now will not spin any shafts. Is there any comp legal fixes for this like replacement parts, or do I have to buy a new motor?

(Sorry for the blurry picture. The square hole is too round to drive the square shafts)

Given <R15> I don’t think there’s anything other than replacing the motor outright that I’d be comfortable with a team taking to competition. Anything you might do to fix this – even if you were to just swap that physical piece from a different motor (if e.g. you had one that was dead, but not stripped) – would almost certainly fall under the umbrella of “modifying” the part, and even if it didn’t, with a motor that’s not meant to be serviceable, you’re unlikely to be able to repair it cleanly enough that it wouldn’t raise questions about it being modified inappropriately.

I’d buy a new motor and take the opportunity to dissect this one.
