Motor button stays when pressed

Hi,

Our team is using the cortex microcontroller and the joystick. We want button 5 to control a motor, but once the “u” button is pressed and released, it stays in the “127” position. We don’t want it to where it goes back to 0 when released, we want it to stay in the position.

Could someone please show me how to program this step-by-step as I am still new to the easyC program.
