In the past few hours, our robot’s 6 motor drive has begun to slow down on one side. When we tried to examine the problem by running the motors separately we noticed the motor controller connecting the motor to port 9 was smoking, the motor the motor controller is connected to can’t run in one of the directions. We have already tried switching motor controllers and all 3 have begun to smoke. In addition, the bottom of the cortex grew quite hot. What is the problem, and will this require us to switch out the cortex?
Entropy170,
Unfortunately it sounds like one of your motor wires caused a short and damaged your Cortex.
