Motor Differences

Hi Guys…

I downloaded RobotC 4.56 and plugged in the Cortex. I tried to program the two motors (393’s) on my ClawBot base.
When I go to the Motors and Sensors setup, I’m offered two choices “VEX IQ Motor” or “No Motor”.
This doesn’t seem right. Will this work or do I have to find different software? I don’t want to wreck something.
I do have the CD that came with the VEX Programming Kit but RobotC seemed the better choice since my Win7 netbook doesn’t have an optical drive.

Any wisdom will be greatly appreciated!

Go to the robot menu and select the cortex platform.

And perhaps have a look at these
