I’ve been designing my robot for high stakes and I’ve sort of ran into a problem. I want to have a 2 motor intake, 6 motor drive, and 2 motor lift for scoring wall stakes and climbing. However 6 + 2 + 2 = 10, not 8. I planned on using a PTO to get power from the drive and send it to the lift, but that won’t work because the motors for the drive use blue cartridges and for the lift I would need green cartridges. Of course, I could PTO the intake from the drive but then that really defeats the purpose of a six motor drive? Why have a six motor drive when you can’t pick up rings at the same time? To the teams that do have a lift, what is your motor distribution, and is it possible to have a 6 motor drive and lift?
If you are worried about the contrast of blue and green cartridges in a pto, you can have a compound gear ratio act on the pto to make the velocities and torques preciseley what you need.

Many teams use Pneumatics for a first-level lift to have a 2 motor intake and 6-motor drive.

How do those teams score their wall stakes then, with a pneumatic scorer?
you can use 2 75 or 50mm cylinders to raise a 2 bar and score.
