Motor issues in drivetrain

Hello! First of all, we have a six motor V5 drivetrain. After 1 to 2 minutes of driving, the left 3 motors get significantly hotter than the right 3 motors, and it stops driving. However, the right side stays completely fine. I tried disconnecting the wire and then reconnecting it, and it worked, but after about 1 minute, it just stopped driving. Yesterday, it was the same problem, however when I flipped the robot over and looked at it driving, the wheels seemed fine and all 6 motors were working fine, but after flipping it onto the ground again, the left side did not move at all. This has never happened before, and we have been using this same drivetrain for the past 3 months. We don’t think it’s a problem with friction because it has never happened before, and only occurred yesterday and today. I was thinking that it might have something to do with the program. This is happening with both the auton and the driver programs. Any thoughts on this? Any help is needed.

Could you post a picture of your bot? And a picture of your drive code? There are many people on the forum who would be happy to help you, but we need information.

That means it is probably a build issue.
Do you notice your drivetrain drifting to one side? Then it is friction. If not, try swapping the motors on the sides (right motors to the left side and vice versa). If the same side is getting hot, it is friction. If not, then it is a motor problem and you need to replace the motors. But yes, like @Micahy321 said, a picture of your bot will really help

That’s weird. It’s probably not possible that all of a sudden all the motors on the left side burnt out completely, so I suggest looking at your code. Maybe you got some of the auton and drive mixed up.

Is your chassis square? I built a chassis that doesn’t need to be squared because the cross braces automatically square it. Maybe you could take some ideas from this.
