Motor Module Vex

I am taking stock prior to building. I have the following Vex motors:
Some 2 wire motors 269, just motors
Some 2 wire motors 363, a bit more powerful than 269
Some Vex Servo Modules, servos, I understand that

But what is a “Motor Module”? It has 3 wires. I have one of these.

That is an excellent question.
Motor Module was the label used in our discontinued 3-Wire Motor.
