We run a timed run on the controller and after our autonomous, the motors don’t jolt, but when we do a match plugged into the brain for a match DURING COMPETITION, they jolt every time we move, idk what’s wrong cause we’ve done everything we can, we’re updated and everything should be right so we need help
Some Potential Reasons:
1. Raspberry Pie for the competition might be broken, inhibiting the connection
- Raspberry Pies used in the competitions can have errors. In my VEX
team’s last tourney, one of the raspberry pies had an error. It happens.
2. Robot is using a different code than the one intended
- If the robot brain being used has been used with different codes in the
past, the robot might accidentally draw from that code. If so, try going to
programs on your controller and selecting the desired code without doing
a timed run. The raspberry pie during the competition will turn the code
off when the match ends, allowing you to select the desired code.
3. I don’t know what would trigger this, but maybe the drive shafts shifted in the motors or the wheels are working against each other from misalignment.
