Anyone knows the songs played during the small break before the finals in the world competitions? The light show was a blast and the music was pretty awesome but my shazam app isn’t identifying any of the recorded audio I have. 
I’m working to get the play list. I’m concerned, though, that you should have your time perception tested.

If I learned anything from Worlds this year, it’s hang out in Freedom Hall more just for that sound system. If only I didn’t get blinded by a light NO MATTER WHERE I SAT.
Yeah, lights nailed my eyes everywhere. Maybe they used an algorithm for full coverage of every seat. Oh yeah.
It was better than not being able to see anything down in the pits. We had two people shining phone flashlights on the robot while three were folding it back up.
My team wants to know the song that played when they announced Karthik to come out on stage.

I’m not sure what specific song you were referring to, but I know that more than once they used no-lyric versions of Harvey Danger’s Flagpole Sitta and Cream and Bastards Rise.
I saw Harvey Danger doing that live at the HFStival at RFK Stadium in DC. Let me confirm I’m old. That was in 1998. A quick check of Wikipedia’s HFStival article HFStival - Wikipedia shows Harvey Danger was on the outer stage that year. Bearnaked Ladies (before they became essentially mainstream) introduced “One Week” at the same show. Wow. I feel old. Because I am. But so many good bands at the HFStival through the years. Loved that show.
Happy they did a call back to that era. @Karthik shouldn’t be old enough to like such a thing. Glad he did.

I think the light from the big screens was better than our phone lights. Something to consider for next year, some of those dewalt flashlights that use the drill batteries.
