My Farewell and VEX Monument.

Starstruck was my last season, and was also my best season. Thanks to all the AZ Teams that made it that way. I had a lot of fun while it lasted, but as with everything it is my time to move on. Special thanks to @Barin for the amazing shiny banner which is now better than his. He forgot to add the amazing world’s driving award though… So, I also made a VEX monument! In our teams, we give out game objects, which I have pulled from storage and put onto display in a colorful VEX show.

Thanks to all the forum users, the VEX team, and everyone involved in VEX worlds. It was a great experience. If any of you care about my advice and or suggestions, I would say to spend a solid amount of time working on the robot, and use the time you have better. The old adage of “Sleep more than you study, study more than you party and party as much as you can” can be adjusted to fit. Finally, @Barin You better go to senior prom. Or else I will break into school and convert your code to RobotC.

I may check in every once in a while. But Goodbye for now!

P.S. if you’re in the San Diego area and need a mentor let me know, ill be at UCSD.

You forgot to summon @OverlyOptimisticProgramer

Must… resist… urge… to… make… better… banner… for… myself…

WHERE’S KARTHIK?! I already told you that you needed to incorporate Karthik!

No.

Good luck with that; I’ll probably be using PROS with C++ for the most part next year. Also, as you should already know, my code is stored on (a) an encrypted drive inside my computer and (b) the cloud. So, that would be a lot of trouble to go through for literally no benefit of your own…

This is like the Hotel California – you can check out, but you can’t leave. Best wishes for a successful time in college.

It has been a fun time with the ACP teams the last few years with you included and I wish you all the best at UCSD, and dont forget to come visit and critique the teams :stuck_out_tongue:

Literally the only reason I would leave San Diego

I’m in San Diego right now and I don’t wanna leave :frowning:

Fare thee well

I’d only miss it for Worlds. Which, some people do.

We were forced to do that during NbN, but we actually now get special consideration in that Prom is not to be scheduled during Worlds.

Regardless, I stand by my aforementioned decision.

see ya @carl! Best of luck

I will put 100 vex speakers on your world qualifying robot (it better be worlds qualifying) and make them impossible to remove… (all of them would be legal of course) and then add speaker code to carl’s robotC code

Keep in touch Nathan!!! :))

I will! I wouldn’t be able to live without my CJ

I’m sorry I missed this thread; I was out of the country.

This may be is necro, but I wanted to thank you for a great year, especially all those times we allied during the early season. I will always cherish the fact that, once, even though it was early season, and we were the lesser of two partners, because of you we were able to beat the Lemon Bots.

So thank you, and good luck at college!

Will you be doing VEXU?

Barin bugged me to visit this thread…
I always had fun partnering with you- that was a great winning streak. I’m not planning on doing VexU, and I wish you luck in the next few years! I’ll be available for contact if you need me though.

Shh, we don’t talk about that.
