Unfortunately, this model has not made me the expected enthusiasm for this once in the engine for the next on the basis of 3 motors. With traction 1/6. And output 3/1 - 6/1 of the maximum motor rotation.
Interesting… push-bot. Could make a Vex Snow Plow with those ideas you have…
A little more about the engines, I assembled a high-speed model of 6 motors (1: 1 - 2: 1 - 3: 1), I experimented a little with power and speed feeds, I got excellent results using 2 differential gears, but unfortunately my apartment’s area is not enough That would accelerate this engine at full speed))) … So I decided to postpone the further creation of a high-speed model. By the way, you can still increase the speed by 3 times slightly losing power, the bot will still be able to successfully start and accelerate.
With this engine was a very dangerous incident changed the mount on the differentials and forgot to turn off the brain, accidentally touched the console and I almost broke my finger, always turn off the robot before the modifications and observe the safety precautions :(((
Another great build, Valeria! Seeing your creations has me wishing I had more time to build
Curious if you have ever tried using worm gears… If not, you might consider ordering some. They are a GREAT way to generate a LOT of torque in a small space!
Also, I plan to build a crane when things settle down, and I know I will need proper weight distribution (to keep it from tipping over) and power. I’m confident you’d come up with an awesome design for one as well!
Thanks for posting.
