Team names can’t really be ‘taken’, there is no mechanism in RobotEvents or anywhere else to prevent two teams from having the same name.
One way I know this is that in WV last season we had 2 teams from different cities that both decided to call themselves “My Favorite Team”. All fun and games until they both went to the same event, and I accidentally started a match with the wrong “My Favorite Team” on the field.
Commentating the match where they were alliance partners was pretty fun though.

Most of the team names I have chosen have normally been either a play on the game for that year or a reference to a popular meme. So like when I was IQ, during ringmaster my team name was Fellowship of the Rings and for next Level I was Hub 41. For last years game, and prolly for the entirety of my VRC career, my name was Eat hot chip
What’s your school’s or sponsoring organization’s name/mascot/logo? There’s probably a punny name to base on that
If you’re looking for inspiration, try naming it after a part of your robot, for example 'Weed Whacker" based on intakes that remind the entire team of a weedwhacker.
If you’re a weeb on the other hand, name your robot after Best Girl, provided you can get your team to agree collectively on who Best Girl really is.

try to make a name out of the first letter in everyone’s name on your team. That’s what we did. on our team we have Torsten, Ian, and Chloe, so we made the name tic tac because our initials make the ‘tic’ and we needed something after that to make it not sound dum
