Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me the difference between brakeType() and brakeType::coast
Brake type brake is an immediate stop. Like if you have that brake type on your wheels then the second you let go of the joysticks, the wheels will jerk to a sudden stop.
Brake type coast is a coast. If you have this brake type on your wheels and you drive and let go of the joystick, you will notice the robot continue to move forward for a little bit, because the motors are gradually coming to a stop. This brake type does not hold its position.
Brake type hold is the motor will hold its position when you stop controlling it. This is really good for arms and lifts.
Thank you for the help! Cheers,
Yug
