Get rid of the spacer under the hinges
That should improve intake angle. Like others have said boxing and cross bracing are a must. Add some plate to the sides as some side rails and that will work in a pinch and help the cubes go in

I think @sarah_97963A nailed it. The larger guard rails should definitely fix the issue. That’s what I did with my robot. Also, maybe make a stopper so in the intakes can’t move in too close to the middle of the tray. This may also help the intakes from dislodging the cubes.

Thank you so much for everyone’s input and tips, we were able to adapt a similar design that worked for our robot. At the competition we went 5 wins and 1 lose and we won Excellence Award !!!
