New 11 wat motor screws looking stripped

Just got in 2 new 11 watt motors and when they came the screws to change the motors looked striped and when we tried to use a Phillips head screw driver it worked on the older motors but on the new ones they did not work.
Im just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a solution.

If the motors were purchased new from vex then the best option would be to contact vex support.

Thanks, I will check that out.

Sometimes you can put something grippy in between the screw and the driver like a rubber band which can help

The ultimate solution, once you get the old screws out (and you might want to pre-emptively replace them): get good screws from robosource.

In our organization, we try to get the teams to change out the cheap screws for good ones the first time they are opened to replace the cartridges.

We have had good luck with using a screwdriver w/ torque limiting clutch and using the lowest setting. That, and a phillips tip in GOOD condition.
