My team recently got our shipment of aluminum C-channels. We noticed quite a lot of differences in looks and quality between these new C-channels and the older ones. Is there a reason for this?

We have several different suppliers for the VEX metal components. Several in the US, several overseas. The majority of VEX aluminum comes from one supplier which includes a specific finish and coating. In some cases, when we run into supply issues we will switch to a secondary supplier for short-periods of time to meet demand. During these times, the finish will appear different, but the aluminum itself is the same grade and quality.
