Has anyone had trouble with the new motor metal shafts? I’m having trouble with then getting stuck in the motors of the flywheels.
Bending is not your friend. The holes and the shafts are made to a very close tolerance. Cantilevering the wheels will start the bend. Not having a real solid attachment at the far end will cause a bend to also start.
In your case you have flywheels that have an amazing amount of flex on the axel. You might want to switch to the plastic axel ones. These will then shatter and break. And that will give you an indication where your engineering isn’t the best.
Roboteers find out in V5 that brute force isn’t the best force. At a smaller scale you can work out that finesse always carries the day.
