I’m new to this and my practice bot isn’t taking programs, help me?

No matter what I do it just isnt working, I’ve tried usb cord with and without adapter, even connecting to the controller. Everytime, it tells me to make sure the power is on and that the serial cord is plugged in… I’m completely stumped at this point, your input?

Also, I’ve installed easyC V2 and the drivers from the CD. I’m working on a desktop with Vista.

Which controller? PIC or cortex, EasyC V2 was for PIC I think.

From your question it seems like you are using a pic. Try using a new battery because it will only download a program if the battery is above some level. We had this problem yesterday.
